This ruby-red wine has glints of violet. On the nose the aromas are fruity, principally red fruit like tart cherry and raspberry. There are also aromas of spices and subtle of cacao. On the palate the wine is fresh with good balance, medium body and smooth rounded tannins that lead to a pleasing finish.

Approximately 20% of the wine aged for 6months in used French oak barrels.
