CHÂTEAU DU BOUSQUET is located in the village of Bourg, on a hillside overlooking a superb chalky clay vineyard.
Demonstrating a traditional Côtes de Bourg style, Château du Bousquet derives its character from an exceptional plot of small-berried Malbec. Characteristic richness combines with a finesse and aromatic precision that is rarely seen in Côtes de Bourg. Typically, Château du Bousquet offers powerful dark fruits and vanilla, with smoky hints. Despite its power, the palate maintains its perfect balance. Initial boldness gives way to solid structure and a long finish.
Ruby hue with carmine highlights.
The typical nose of the Domaine’s wines exudes powerful scents of black fruit and vanilla sprinkled with toasty notes.
Dense and full of character, the palate reveals a perfect balance. The tannins show a lovely constitution and herald a long-lingering finish.
Fine charcuterie, poultry, pork loin roasted in caramel and garlic, grilled entrecote, dishes in a sauce or stew, spicy cuisine or mature cheeses.
