Representing The Glenlivet’s signature style, this classic malt is matured primarily ex-American Oak casks. These impart notes of vanilla and give the whisky its distinctive smoothness. The mineral-rich water that comes from Josie’s Well helps form the flavors during mashing and fermentation, whilst the specific height and width of the the copper stills add a delicate yet complex character.
The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve captures the distinct, smooth, fruity taste that the fist envisioned in 1824 and for which we are still renowned today. And because we remain as dedicated to innovation as our founder ever was, we’ve given this classic single malt a contemporary twist.
